Hi Joanna, you're totally right. Ken's work is a joy to read. While both of you seem soothed by a hum of conversation made unintelligible because of language differences, I feel a bit panicked by that. Haha. I'm not sure whether it would make me write as well.

I could imagine though how it might seem like beautiful music that pushes the ideas forward - in contrast to listening in to a babble of conversation that you would wish muted because it's spoken in a language that you understand, and you can't help but eavesdrop - despite yourself. Wow, that was long.

Anyway, I agree about your astute observation about Ken being a hard worker. But I suppose if you enjoy doing what you love to do best, doesn't really count as work. ;-)

Enjoy the rest of your week. Two more days and it's weekend! Yay!

I clearly need to familiarize myself with Ken's work. This was a lovely relaxed and inspiring interview. I can't imagine doing all my writing in public places, like Ken does, but I totally relate to how soothing it is to be surrounded by a hum of conversation in a language I don't know.

He sounds like a really hard worker 9.00 AM til 7.00PM!!

Great advice for us newbie writers! Thanks, Myra and Ken.
